It’s almost July 1: Did you use all of your Credit Card benefits?

It is almost July 1, 2026, which means it is a good time to check your credit card benefits before some of them reset.

Many premium travel cards come with statement credits that are divided by month, quarter, or half of the year. These credits can be valuable, but only if you remember to use them before the deadline.

I like to do a quick credit card benefits check at the end of June and again at the end of December. It helps me make sure I am not leaving easy value unused on cards where I have already paid the annual fee.

July 1 is a big reset date for many semiannual and quarterly credit card credits. Check your Chase, Amex, Hilton, and other card benefits before June 30 so you do not let easy statement credits expire.

Chase Sapphire Reserve Credits to Check

Chase Sapphire Reserve Dining Credit

If you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve, check whether you have used your dining credit for the first half of the year.

Chase lists a $300 Annual Dining Credit, split into up to $150 from January through June and up to $150 from July through December, for dining at restaurants that are part of the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables program.

This can be useful if there is a participating restaurant near you and you were already planning a meal out.

Before using it, check the restaurant list and confirm that the charge will be eligible. I would also avoid waiting until the very last day, since merchant processing times can sometimes affect when a charge posts.

Chase Sapphire Reserve StubHub and viagogo Credit

The Chase Sapphire Reserve also has a StubHub and viagogo credit.

Chase lists up to $300 annually, split into up to $150 from January through June and up to $150 from July through December for purchases on StubHub and viagogo. Activation is required, and the benefit is currently listed as available through December 31, 2027.

This can be helpful for concerts, sporting events, theater, or family activities if you were already planning to buy tickets. (Yes, apparently, my husband is attending a free Marilyn Manson concert soon.)

Chase Sapphire Reserve The Edit Credit

The Chase Sapphire Reserve also has a hotel credit for bookings through The Edit by Chase Travel.

Sapphire Reserve cardmembers can receive up to $500 annually for use with The Edit, with up to $250 reimbursed for bookings between January and June and again from July to December, for a total of up to $500 in statement credits. Note that a minimum two-night stay is required

This one is only worth using if the hotel and price already make sense for your trip. Compare the total cost against booking direct or using points.

For family travel, this can be useful when the benefits line up, especially if the stay includes breakfast for two, a property credit, room upgrades when available, or late checkout.

Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business Credits to Check

If you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business, there are a few additional midyear credits to review.

The Edit by Chase Travel Credit

Chase says the Sapphire Reserve for Business has up to $500 annually in statement credits for eligible prepaid stays booked through The Edit by Chase Travel. The credit is split into up to $250 from January 1 to June 30 and up to $250 from July 1 to December 31. A two-night minimum stay is required.

If you own a business and have this card, this is one of the bigger credits to check before June 30.

As with any hotel credit, compare the total booking cost before assuming the credit makes it a better deal.

ZipRecruiter Credit

The Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business also has a ZipRecruiter credit.

Chase lists up to $400 annually, split into up to $200 from January through June and up to $200 from July through December for purchases made directly with ZipRecruiter.

This is obviously only useful if you are actually hiring or using ZipRecruiter for your business.

If you are, check whether you have used the first-half credit before June 30.

Curated Gift Card Credit

The same card also has a curated gift card credit. Chase lists up to $100 per year, split into up to $50 from January through June and up to $50 from July through December for gift cards purchased from the eligible curated collection.

This is one of the easier credits to use if the available gift card options match places where you already shop.

American Express Platinum Credits to Check

Amex Platinum Hotel Credit

If you have the Platinum Card from American Express, check your Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection credit.

Amex lists a $600 Hotel Credit, split into up to $300 in statement credits semiannually from January through June and July through December, for eligible prepaid Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection bookings made through American Express Travel.

This is one of the most important credits to check before June 30.

Your trip does not always have to be completed by June 30, but the eligible prepaid booking needs to fall within the correct benefit period. Always confirm the current terms in your Amex benefits dashboard before booking.

This credit can be especially useful for family trips when the hotel benefits are valuable, such as breakfast, late checkout, or a $100 property credit. But compare prices first. A $300 credit only helps if the booking is still a good value overall.

Amex Platinum Saks Credit

If you have the Amex Platinum Saks benefit, check this one right away.

Note that, effective July 1, 2026, Shop Saks with Platinum will no longer be a Card benefit. Eligible cardmembers can still receive up to $50 in statement credits through this June, and enrollment is required.

This means June 30, 2026, is not just the end of the first half of the year. It may be the final opportunity to use this benefit.

If you still have it available, use it for something practical: a gift, household item, kids’ clothing, beauty item, or something you already needed.

Amex Platinum Resy and lululemon Credits

These are quarterly rather than semiannual, but June 30 is still a deadline.

Amex lists a $400 Resy Credit on the Platinum Card, split into up to $100 each quarter for eligible Resy purchases after enrollment.

Amex also lists a $300 lululemon Credit, split into up to $75 each quarter for eligible purchases at U.S. lululemon stores and lululemon.com after enrollment.

If you have either benefit, check whether you have used your April through June credit before the quarter ends.

American Express Business Platinum Credits to Check

Amex Business Platinum Hotel Credit

The Business Platinum Card from American Express also has a hotel credit.

Amex lists up to $600 in annual hotel credits, split into up to $300 back semiannually on select prepaid hotel bookings through American Express Travel using the Business Platinum Card.

If you have the Business Platinum and any upcoming travel, check this before June 30.

This can be useful for work travel, family travel, or a hotel stay you were already planning.

Amex Business Platinum Dell Credit

The Dell credit is still worth checking, but I would not describe it as a June 30 semiannual credit anymore.

Amex currently lists the Business Platinum Dell benefit as up to $150 in statement credits per calendar year on U.S. purchases directly with Dell Technologies, plus an additional $1,000 statement credit after spending $5,000 or more on those purchases in a calendar year. Enrollment is required.

If you remember this as an old semiannual Dell credit, check your benefits dashboard before making a purchase. The structure has changed.

American Express Gold Credits to Check

Amex Gold Resy Credit

The American Express Gold Card has a semiannual Resy credit.

Amex lists a $100 Resy Credit, split into up to $50 from January through June and up to $50 from July through December at qualifying U.S. Resy restaurants after enrollment.

If you have the Gold Card and dine at Resy restaurants, this is an easy one to check before June 30.

This credit is most useful when it fits a meal you were already planning.

Amex Gold Monthly Credits

The Gold Card also has monthly credits, including Dunkin and dining credits, depending on your card benefits and enrollment status. Since these reset monthly, it is worth checking them at the end of every month, not just June.

Hilton American Express Credits to Check

Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Resort Credit

If you have the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card, check your resort credit.

Amex lists a $400 Hilton Resort Credit, split into up to $200 from January through June and up to $200 from July through December, for eligible purchases made directly with participating Hilton Resorts.

This can be very useful if you have a stay at a participating Hilton resort.

Make sure the property qualifies, and make sure the charge is made directly with the participating resort.

Hilton Aspire Flight Credit

The Hilton Aspire also has a quarterly flight credit.

Amex lists up to $50 in statement credits each quarter, for a total of up to $200 back each year, on eligible flight purchases made directly with an airline, through AmexTravel.com, or through the Amex Travel App.

This is not semiannual, but the April through June quarter ends on June 30.

If you have this card, check whether you have used the current quarter’s flight credit.

Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Credit

The Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card has a quarterly Hilton credit.

Amex lists up to $50 in statement credits each calendar quarter, for up to $200 annually, for eligible purchases charged directly with a property in the Hilton portfolio.

Again, this is quarterly rather than semiannual, but June 30 is still the deadline for the second quarter.

This can be helpful for Hilton stays, incidental charges, parking, meals, or other eligible property charges, depending on the hotel and how the charge is processed.

Citi Strata Elite Credit to Check

Citi Strata Elite Blacklane Credit

If you have the Citi Strata Elite Card, check the Blacklane credit.

Citi lists up to $200 in annual Blacklane statement credits, split into up to $100 from January through June and up to $100 from July through December

This could be useful for airport transportation, business travel, or a special trip where you were already planning to book a car service.

As always, compare the cost. A credit is only useful if the final price makes sense.

IHG Credit Cards to Check

IHG Premier and IHG Premier Business United TravelBank Benefit

If you have the IHG One Rewards Premier Card or IHG One Rewards Premier Business Card, check whether you registered for the United TravelBank benefit.

Eligible cardmembers can receive one $25 United TravelBank cash deposit around January 5 and another $25 United TravelBank cash deposit around July 5 each calendar year, after completing one-time registration.

This is not a statement credit, but it is a twice-yearly travel benefit that can help offset United flight costs.

If you have one of these cards and fly United even occasionally, make sure you are registered.

World of Hyatt Business Credit Card to Check

World of Hyatt Business Hyatt Statement Credits

The World of Hyatt Business Credit Card has a twice-yearly-style Hyatt credit, but it is based on your cardmember anniversary year rather than the January through June calendar period.

Chase lists up to $100 in Hyatt statement credits per year. You can earn $50 statement credits up to two times each anniversary year when you spend $50 or more at any Hyatt property.

This is not a June 30 reset for everyone, but it is still worth adding to your checklist because it is easy to forget.

If you have this card and a Hyatt stay coming up, check whether you have used both $50 credits in your current anniversary year.

Bottom line

Credit card credits can be valuable, but they only help if they match your real life.

Do not spend extra money just because a credit is available. But if you already have a hotel stay, dinner, event, airline purchase, Hilton charge, Hyatt stay, or online purchase planned, it is worth checking whether one of your cards can help offset the cost.

Before June 30, take a few minutes to review your benefits. You may find an unused credit that helps make your next family trip a little less expensive. And that is always worth checking.
