Carmel Valley Ranch is a 500-acre property in Carmel Valley, California. It is located only 15 minutes away from the famous little town of Carmel-by-the-Sea and 20 minutes from Monterey.

The Ranch has a perfect location overlooking the Santa Lucia Mountains and is surrounded by vineyards, lavender fields, and a golf course. Not only it has excellent amenities, such as a saltwater infinity hot tub and a pool, but it also offers a great experience along with guided hikes, complimentary classes and is perfect for a family getaway.

The Eliza Jane, the Hotel Review

Last December, we spent a few nights in New Orleans. This vibrant, historic city attracts many tourists yearly, and we decided to visit it right before Christmas. We hoped to combine exploring New Orleans’ attractions with diving into the Christmas spirit with festively decorated streets.

When looking for a place to stay, we quickly checked the Hyatt map of hotels in New Orleans so that we could book our stay on points. It appeared there are five Hyatt properties in the city, representing 5 Hyatt brands (or collections) – Hyatt House, Hyatt Place, Hyatt Centric, Hyatt Regency, and The Eliza Jane from the Unbound Collection. After some consideration, we decided upon the latter. Located on the Magazine Street, this boutique hotel is only a few minutes from the famous French Quarter.

This post is about our 4 night stay in Miami Beach, Florida at the oceanfront hotel The Confidante Miami Beach by Hyatt.

This Category 5 hotel is from the Unbound Collection by Hyatt, with 20,000 Hyatt Points per night on a standard night (17,000 Hyatt Points on off-peak nights, and 23,000 Hyatt Points on peak nights).

We were lucky enough to book our room before March 22, 2022 when it was still a Category 4 hotel, before Hyatt updated its award chart and bumped some of the properties to a higher category.

A couple of weeks ago, we spent a weekend at the luxurious ranch in the Carmel Valley, California — Carmel Valley Ranch.

We love Carmel-by-the-sea and usually go there to spend some time on the beach and walk around downtown, but we had never been to the Carmel Valley, which was only 20 minutes further inland.
